Mark Kollar serves as President and Lead Underwriter for Edgewater Holdings, Ltd., a managing General Agency and consulting firm founded by Kollar in 1991. Mr. Kollar also serves as a director of the Employment Practices Risk Management Association (EPRMA), a non-profit association domiciled in the state of Illinois dedicated to research and development of risk management techniques for businesses associated with the exposure to employee lawsuits by employees for discrimination, harassment, and other alleged wrongful employment practices.
Edgewater, under Kollar’s guidance, has a proven track record of introducing coverages that were originally developed for “Fortune 500” companies to small and medium sized business. In the mid-nineties, Edgewater pioneered underwriting employment practice liability insurance for firms fewer than 200 employees. Edgewater’s process included not only promulgating rates and developing coverage forms that sustained profitability for the carriers but also created technology that allows agents and brokers to profitably transact small premium items. Edgewater is currently developing Cyber Protection products suitable and marketable to these buyers.
Kevin Ribble serves as an underwriter and account executive for national Cyber and EPLI programs serving a wide variety of risk groups including Allied Health Professionals, Cosmetic Manufacturers, Importers and Distributors, Hospitality and PEOs. He is the president of the Employment Practices Risk Management Association (www.eprma.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting employers with risk management services for EPLI and Cyber Security.
Mr. Ribble is a consultant on cyber forms and a frequent speaker on cyber liability and HR related topics, he most recently conducted a cyber-work shop at the Target Market Association’s annual convention, following Admiral Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff. He was recently a panelist at the 2015 Cyber Liability Summit and has been a speaker at the Colorado Bar and Restaurant Association, the LA Restaurant Association and a contributor to “National Underwriter” and Target Market “Rough Notes” magazine. He is a certified instructor in continuing education for licensed insurance professionals.
Caroline Murray is the Senior EPLI and Cyber Underwriter for Edgewater Holdings, Ltd. Caroline started her business career in 2000 as a junior underwriter. Initially trained as a casualty lines underwriter for Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI), Caroline would dedicate her talents to the development of hotel and restaurant specialty programs. In recent years, she has emerged as senior underwriter for both EPLI and Cyber Security Insurance.
Caroline also serves as Corporate Secretary for the Employment Practices Risk Management Association (EPRMA), a non-profit association domiciled in the State of Illinois. The association is dedicated to research and development of risk management techniques for businesses associated with the exposure to employee lawsuits. EPRMA provides a full array of risk management services to members in EPLI, Child Safety, and Cyber Protection.
As Senior Vice President and Account Executive for Edgewater Holdings, Patrick is responsible for driving growth and profitability through strategic relationships with agents, brokers, program administrators, and insurance carriers.
Prior to joining Edgewater in 2016, Patrick served as Vice President and Program Manager for Marsh (Chicago) from 2013-2016. In this role, Patrick provided strategic direction for the McDonald’s Program, Ronald McDonald House Charities Program, and American Council of Engineering Companies Program.
From 2004-2013, Patrick worked with Liberty Mutual in production and distribution management in the Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, and Chicago, IL offices.
Patrick is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He lives in Chicago, IL with his wife and two children.
